  • We’re excited to offer parents and students ages 15 and up the opportunity to work at our local Aviators Baseball games as a fundraiser for Jeff Choir!

    Funds earned from each sign-up slot are applied directly to your student’s account and can be used towards fees and trips. As of May 2025, the minimum earned per sign-up slot is $50! Multi-games can earn bonuses! 

    Anyone is welcome to work on behalf of your student—so be sure to ask family members and friends to help support your student!

    Important Notes for Parents:

    • To sign up as a cashier, you must have a permit to sell alcohol.

    • Volunteering with LSC requires a background check.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER? HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Lafayette School Corporation policy dictates volunteers who have direct contact with students must consent to a background check.  Cost is $17.95 and approval is valid for 2 years.  Not required for LSC employees.

Go to the Secure Volunteer web site. Click on "Volunteer Now", choose "Volunteer ($17.95)" and Continue to complete your information.  You'll receive confirmation and a card will be sent in the mail that you'll need to keep with you, valid for 2 years.  Please provide a copy of your card to Mrs. Ply (krply@lsc.k12.in.us).

BACKGROUND CHECK - SECURE VOLUNTEER

ALCOHOL PERMIT (needed for adults only):

If you are planning to work Aviators or Purdue concession games as a cashier, you must complete alcohol certification.

Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Alcohol Permit---https://www.in.gov/atc/atc-online-services/ 

Step 2: Click on First Time Application

Step 3: Under “Search,” enter your Birth Date & SSN, then click Search

Step 4: Fill out the entire First Time Applicants page, then click Register

Step 5: On the Licensing Home Page, click Initial Application on the far left side of the screen

Step 6: On the Application for Licensure page, select:

  • Profession: Alcoholic Beverage

  • License Type: Volunteer Employee Permit

  • Obtained By Method: Online

  • Then click Start Application

Step 7: After reading the cost, click Next Step

Step 8: Click Complete

Step 9: Complete the application questions and click Confirm

Step 10: Upload any documents if needed under Document Upload, or click Complete

Step 11: Review the Application Summary; if everything is correct, click Pay Fees

Step 12: On the Fees page, click Pay Fees

Step 13: Enter your information and click Next to complete your payment

After you obtain your certification a copy will need to be emailed to both Boosters @ jeffchoirboosters@gmail.com and Mrs. Ply @ krply@lsc.k12.in.us
